CHEEKWOOD ANNOUNCES ADDITIONAL “CHIHULY NIGHTS” AND EXTENDED FALL HOURS

(NASHVILLE, TENN.)

Due to popular demand of "Chihuly Nights," Cheekwood Botanical Garden and Museum of Art will add an additional Wednesday evening for visitors starting July 21. Cheekwood will also remain open until 10 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings through October 29, offering guests a unique nighttime art experience.

"Chihuly Nights" has been so incredibly popular that we felt the need to add an additional night," said Claire Corby, Cheekwood's director of marketing and communications. "We asked our members and visitors last week if they would support an additional night and they responded with an astounding 94 percent saying yes."

Thanks to the generous support of Lexus of Nashville, "Chihuly Nights" will be offered every Wednesday and most Thursday and Friday evenings through October 29. "Chihuly Nights" will not be offered during LIVE! at Cheekwood concert nights on July 29, August 6, September 30 and October 14.

For more information about Cheekwood, please call (615) 356-8000 or visit www.cheekwood.org.
